Our Intensive Outpatient Program is offered to anyone who is motivated for recovery, has full-time employment or school enrollment, has a strong support system, and does not meet medical criteria for detoxification in a residential treatment program. IOP can also be used as a step down in treatment intensity for clients who have completed a primary treatment program. IOP meets three (3) times per week, in the evening, for twelve (12) weeks. If a client works off shore or in a related field that requires time away, the treatment schedule can be adapted to meet this need. Our IOP is grounded in the proven tradition of the Spiritual Principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
This treatment method is proven to change lives for the better. Our clients will be asked to participate in the following therapeutic settings; Group Counseling, Individual Counseling, Groups for both Men and Women, Family Group, and others. All groups are lead by Licensed Counselors. Our clients will also be asked to attend 12-Step meetings (off- site).

NSR’s Family Education Education Group focuses on the understanding addiction, disease concept, anger and stress management, character defects and defense mechanisms, medical aspects of addiction, understanding the 12 step programs, and Alanon. The Family Education group was developed to give the clients' family support in addressing and identifying their own stressor's, feelings and hurt living in the environment communication and relationship.
Having family members attend and being involved in the treatment process vastly improves the chances of the long-term recovery for the client. By having family involved helps the client to not feel alone, someone to understand and have support. NSR believes that addiction is a family disease that touches every part of the family system. By families working together the prognosis for positive change is higher. We highly recommend family be engaged in the theraputic process while their loved one is in treatment
