Brett Matherne is a Licensed Addictions Counselor. He graduated from Nichols State University in 1997, the same year he started working in the addictions field. His work experience as a treatment provider is vast. He has worked in Adolescent Extended Care program, Counselor and Program director for Adult Drug Court Treatment Program, Administrator for adult male extended care facility, counselor and program director in juvenile and adult jail based rentry/treatment programs, DWI Education Coordinator, and private practice. My philosophy to treatment is that Chemical Dependency is a disease that can be arrested with the support of a structured, supportive and client centered/motivational approach that is cost and time affective.

Brett has been married for 15 years and has one son 12years old. He enjoys spending time with his son hunting and fishing, but most of all watching him play baseball.
